Spotted Seatrout Size Limit Increases

The minimum size limit for spotted seatrout will increase from 12 inches to 14 inches on Monday, October 5th. The change applies to both commercial and recreational fisheries. A 10-fish recreational bag limit will remain in place.
Holden Beach Beach Sweep Reminder

The 2009 North Carolina Big Sweep event will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3rd. Please meet under the bridge for bags, gloves and more information.
If anyone is unable to bring the bags back under the bridge, they may be left on the side of Ocean Boulevard for pick-up.
