Heather Finnell

Heather is our special contributor and friend at Holden Beach Town Hall. Her official title is "Town Clerk;" most think of her as the first person you call when you need help.

Very few things happen in the town that she doesn't know about. You can find her at Town Hall making sure everything runs smoothly, or around town organizing local events.

She is a transplant for New York but still doesn't have the bumper sticker that says "I'm not from the south but I got here as soon as I could." We're working on that.

Josh Holden

Josh was born with sand between his feet and salt air in his lungs. As a kid, you could have found him riding his bike to old Jeff's Grocery for a few candy treats or merrily working the checkout counter at Beach Mart. (He was the strange kid standing on a milk crate so he could reach the register.)

Many years have past and after spending about five years in NYC, Josh has found a deeper respect for Holden Beach, and the serene quality of life it provides.

These days he's back in HB–-taking a break from the big city--splashing in the sea, helping with the family business, and working on any number of projects (including HoldenBeach.me.)

If you see him around town, say hello.

Mark Barilla

Mark is our site design guru with photoshop skills that would make Mona Lisa's jaw drop.

He's a graduate of the University of Florida with a BS in advertising and has extensive experience developing web and print advertising materials. While yes, he still lives in Florida, we don't hold that against him [too much].
