You write from your heart and with such clarity. Thank you for sharing. We bought a home 2 years in Lakes of Lockwood, but still have to get our MD house on the market. Each time we have to leave the Beach…like today…it’s just sooo difficult. Every day we walk the beach…hot, cold, windy or calm…it’s beauty is so breathtaking and the sound of the waves just calms me. I enjoyed reading your article so much….I love Holden Beach. I have been coming there for about 12 years. The first time I came there was for a celebration of my parents 50th anniversary with all 4 children, spouses and grandchildren. I have made many memories since then with other family members!! I envy you and your life at the beach. I love Holden beach and love spending time there!!!

I agree about the concerts. I love all of the bands. And look forward every year. It’s not often that you have a FREE concert. Wish they were on Sat. night and also wish that you could have THE BAND of OZ……….thank you merchants for the concerts. I have a place at Holden and always envite friends down for the concerts.
