Inlet Dredging Update 2-10-14

Inlet Dredging Update

Southwind Construction will begin maintenance dredging operations of the Lockwood Folly Inlet Crossing this afternoon.

Mobilization of both land and sea assets have already begun. Heavy equipment will be on the east end of the beach and industrial operations will last until approximately the end of March.

Please be aware that dredging operations are inherently dangerous. In order to ensure your safety, stay away from any and all equipment. Mariners are cautioned to be aware of the dredge’s location in and around the inlet.
