Holden Beach, NC — Residents woke up to major flooding the morning of Saturday, November 24th at Holden Beach today! The above picture was taken on High Point Street Saturday morning, facing the canal. The flooding was caused by an unusually high tide, combined with torrential rains that covered the area in the morning. Many low-lying homes and yards were flooded from the rising waters.
