Holden Beach Turtle Hatching [video]

For all those interested in sea turtles, here is a video clip of loggerhead sea turtles being taken care of by the Holden Beach Turtle patrol before being released into the ocean.

The YouTube video was uploaded by “orthorth’ on August 27, 2007 with the description:

“Baby loggerheads travel toward the ocean after hatching Aug 25, 2007 at Holden Beach, N.C. The local turtle patrol makes sure their flippers are ready for a life at sea by having them crawl down a trench before they counted one last time.”
