Town News: From Mayor Alan Holden 4/1/20

Overall, property owners, visitors and residents have been very understanding and willing to work together addressing the challenges due to COVID-19.

There have been some issues that have arisen due to noncompliance by those individuals who lack consideration for others.

State of Emergency Amendment No. 4 is an attempt to more clearly define the purpose of the original declaration. Click here to view amendment No. 4.

Presently there are no plans to close the bridge. It may become a consideration along with other options at a later date.

The Holden Beach Police Department is performing its duty protecting people and property. Yes, tickets are being written.

The Town Hall building is still closed, but staff is working. Phone calls, emails, etc. will be answered.

Be sure to have your windshield stickers, just in case they were to be required to enter the town. They must be placed on the windshield to be officially recognized.

Currently residents and property owners are welcome to use their homes!
It is a time for us all to help one another.
