Hurricane Irene – Mandatory Evacuation

A mandatory evacuation has been declared. Everyone needs to be off the island by 6:00 p.m. today, the 26th day of August, 2011. The bridge is subject to being closed sooner if winds are sustained at 45 MPH or higher. Click here for the full text. Click here to view information on the curfew.

Please be advised the Town will terminate water and sewer service mid afternoon. You should not rely on water and sewer service to be available after noon. Please turn off your water at the property owner’s box if possible.
