Town News: Neighborhood Watch, Tree Lighting & More

  • Don’t forget to attend this month’s Neighborhood Watch meeting on Tuesday, November 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall General Assembly. The guest speaker will talk about the County’s Drug Court program. Also in attendance will be graduates from the program.
  • Save the Date: The Town’s 2nd Annual Tree Lighting will be held on Thursday, December 3rd at 6:00 p.m. Festivities include caroling, crafts for the kids, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and refreshments.
  • If you are interested in donating a cake or other baked goods for the “Children’s Cake Walk” to be held at the Tree Lighting, please contact Heather at heather@hbtownhall.com or (910) 842-6488 for more information. Cakes need to be labeled with your name, the type of cake and ingredients.
  • Good Eats II, a cookbook to benefit the Holden Beach Chapel is now available. This cookbook with 550 recipes can be purchased for $20. If you are interested in purchasing one, contact Peggy at mschiavone@atmc.net.
