Volunteers Needed – Chief Layne has requested that everyone cooperate in keeping down crime on the island by removing their valuables from their unattended vehicles.

Town Hall Closed – Town Hall will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

Halstead Street – The Halstead Street Park is now reopened. Repairs were made last week to the support pilings.

Board of Commissioners’ Workshop Cancelled – The Board of Commissioners Workshop scheduled for Tuesday, September 8th at 6:00 p.m. has been cancelled.

Board of Commissioners’ Regular Meeting – The Board’s next Regular Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 8th at 7:00 p.m.

Candidate’s Night – This year’s Meet the Candidates Night is scheduled for Sunday, October 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall General Assembly.
