Holden Beach Turtle Patrol

The Holden Beach Turtle Patrol is seeking new volunteers to assist with their sea turtle protection activities. Adults who will be available all season and are able to dig nests on the beach are needed.

Contact Tony Marwitz at 842-8993 if you are interested in an educational, hardworking and fun summer that will help the endangered sea turtles.

Josh is a primary contributor to the Holden Beach Community Blog, focusing on sharing local news and event information with locals and visitors. He grew up at Holden Beach working for family businesses. As a kid, you could have found him riding his bike to old Jeff's Grocery for a few candy treats or working the checkout counter at Beach Mart.
